When lodging a Partner Visa Subclass 309 application, both the primary applicant and all dependent family members must pay the visa application charge. In some cases, a second installment may be required before a decision is made on the Subclass 309 visa application.

Partner Visa Application Fees for Subclass 309:

  • Primary Applicant Fee:
    The primary applicant for the Subclass 309 Partner Visa must pay a visa application charge of A$9,095.
  • Additional Applicant Fees (Aged 18 or Over):
    Any secondary applicant aged 18 or older must pay a visa application charge of A$4,550.
  • Additional Applicant Fees (Under 18):
    For secondary applicants under the age of 18, the visa application charge is A$2,280.
  • Applicants Holding a Subclass 445 (Dependent Child) Visa:
    No additional visa application fee is required for applicants holding a Subclass 445 visa.

Second Installment Before Visa Grant:
No second installment is required before the Subclass 309 visa is granted.

Subsequent Temporary Application Charge:
This charge is not applicable when lodging a Subclass 309 visa application onshore.
