Subclass 190 Visa Costs for 2024
When lodging a Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated Visa application, the primary applicant, along with all dependent family members, must pay the required visa application charge. In some cases, a second installment may be required before a final decision is made on the visa application.

- Primary Applicant Fee: A$4,770
The main applicant must pay a visa application charge when submitting the Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) application. - Additional Applicant (18 years or older): A$2,385
For each dependent family member aged 18 or over included in the application, an additional visa charge applies. - Additional Applicant (under 18 years): A$1,190
Dependents under 18 years of age will incur a lower visa application charge.
Second Installment for Applicants with Limited English Proficiency
Applicants aged 18 or older who are assessed as not having functional English may be required to pay a second installment of A$4,885 before the visa is granted. Functional English can be demonstrated through one of the following:
- Holding a valid passport from the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, or Ireland (British National (Overseas) passports are not accepted).
- Completing at least two years of full-time study, at a diploma level or higher, in an English-speaking institution.
- Attending primary and at least three years of secondary school where all instruction was in English.
- Completing at least five years of secondary education where instruction was in English.
- Achieving a specified score on an English language test such as IELTS or TOEFL.
Subsequent Temporary Application Charge
No subsequent temporary application charge is payable if the Subclass 190 Visa application is lodged while the applicant is onshore.
