Skills Assessment Services
You must provide evidence that your skills have been assessed as suitable for your nominated occupation by the relevant assessing authority. You must provide from the relevant assessing authority a full (permanent) skills assessment which must be used for Points Tested Skilled Migration
The Department of Home Affairs requires you to provide evidence that your skills have been assessed by a relevant assessing authority for your nominated occupation.
The visa categories below require your skills to be assessed by the relevant assessing authority.
- 189 Visa (Skilled Independent)
- 190 Visa (Skilled Nominated)
- 489 Visa (Skilled Regional – Provisional)
- 186 Visa (Employer Nomination Scheme)
- 187 Visa (Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme)
- 482 Visa (Temporary Skill Shortage)
- 485 Visa (Temporary Graduate)
Skill Assessments are valid: 3 years from their issue date

Steps to getting your skills assessed:
ASSESSING AUTHORITY
We will advise you the relevant skills assessing authority where we can apply to have your skills assessment of your occupation.
DOCUMENT COLLECTION AND PROCESSING
We will provide you with a document check list, examples on how to draft reference letters and other important evidentiary requirements for your assessment. Once the fees are paid and all the documents have been provided by you we will then check them and if all good, we will lodge the application to the assessing authority for processing.
POSITIVE ASSESSMENT
Once you have received a successful outcome from your skills assessment, we will upload your result and include it in your visa application.
