SKILLED

AUSTRALIA IS SEEKING SKILLED WORKERS

The GSM visa is a permanent residency points test based visa. You may be eligible for permanent residency in Australia if you are a skilled worker and have the relevant occupation and have the right amount of points, skills and experience to fill skilled worker shortages in Australia. This visa category is a two step process.

First you need to apply for an Expression of Interest (EOI) via the SkillSelect Program, then the department will invite you to apply for the visa. Invitations are conditional on the amount of visa applications in processing and your points. The higher the points the more chances you will be invited to apply. We have helped many applicants increase their points, giving them greater success for an invitation.

Two sub classes can be found under the GSM category:

  • Skilled Independent visa – subclass 189
  • Skilled Nominated visa – subclass 190
